Karma

A farmer was plowing a field. When plowing the field, he uncovered a nest. In the nest was a mouse and its babies. The mother mouse planned diligently to place the nest without it being exposed to the elements. The mother mouse took many things into consideration, but it was not aware of the farmer and its plow. Human beings make many plans. These plans often go astray because you are not aware of all of the contributing factors. 

When you are making plans, you need to take into consideration all of the eight billion people that are also on the planet. You need to take into consideration that on the planet, there are many events occurring that involve gravitational forces, the moon, and the stars that have an effect on what is happening on the planet. 

When you are Guiding people. It helps to be aware of the area in which you are guiding: flash floods, earthquakes, cult leaders, anything that can have an effect on what you are guiding for. What are your clients looking for, what are they expecting…a gentle walk with lunch? ….ten mile hike with 200’rappel off of cliff? …what degree of injuries and pain are acceptable and which are not? Before you decide what is good or bad Karma for the group, you have to be aware of yourself, others, the planet Earth, and the multiverse. Even with all of the understanding of each of these, the outcome is still up for grabs. 

You can plan, you can schedule, you can receive other input from others, no matter what you do, there is no 100% guarantee that the outcome is going to be as desired. Before you take the group out as a guide. You have to understand that if something changes, what are you going to do to go with the flow? 

This uncertainty creates a need for communication between the guide and the client. You will have to understand their capabilities, the strengths and their weaknesses. This is why we have them fill out release forms so that they understand the potential problems that may arise. Mitigation of these potential problems also involves an insurance policy that takes care of unforeseen events. Insurance does not stop things from happening; it merely lessens the blow from the accident. 

Scientists have discovered a motivating force behind everything that they do. This effect goes back in time billions of years and has everything to do with the structure of matter and the multiverse. No matter how smart, strong and powerful you may think you are, if the multiverse has a different idea, it will win out. This is like arguing with your wife. So when things don’t work out the way that we want them to, we could wine, bitch, and moan, or we can readjust our plans and carry on. 

In preparation to be a guide we will need to take as much information as possible to increase the chances of our desired outcome. There will always be unforeseen things that we cannot foresee. Karma could see them, it just doesn’t tell us until we hit the ground. This is why we constantly have to be observing ourselves, learning new things, and understanding our clients better. 

This is where the three types of Karma come into play.

1. Sanchita: The accumulated sum of all karma from all past lives.
2. Prarabdha: The portion of Sanchita karma that is currently bearing fruit in the present life (fate).
3. Agami/Kriyamana: The new karma created by present actions that will affect the future.
